I’m excited to see Gomi fight tomorrow…. I just wish he wasn’t fighting Florian. That is too hard of an opponent for him to start out with, the UFC always does this crap with Asian fighters. Gomi has been sucking balls lately so when people see him most likely get raped by Florian everyone that has never seen Gomi fight before are gonna think he always sucked. Hopefully UFC at least gives him a nice highlight reel with all the Pride footage they have. (more…)

So Hardy didn’t get finished, but that doesn’t mean he didn’t get dominated. GSP was able to take Hardy down at will and he almost broke his arm twice! I personally was entertained by the fight and I don’t understand why everyone hates it. Big fucking deal GSP didn’t have a spectacular finish, at least you got to see him in action for a good 25 minutes after he has been out for 8 months. And it’s not like he didn’t attempt to finish the fight, GSP gives his opponents respect and he knows first hand that the fight can turn on you in a split second. Playing to his strengths and his opponents weaknesses was the right decision. (more…)

I think that everyone pretty much shares the same opinion on this fight. GSP is going to ravage Hardy. Hardy is doing a few things right, he isn’t afraid of GSP but he also isn’t showing him any respect. I think in his mind he is just going to go in there and get a lucky KO….. sorry Hardy that bullshit ain’t gonna happen. Hardy simply doesn’t have enough tools to beat GSP. Everyone always says that the fighter that is going to legitimately beat St. Pierre is a world class striker, well sorry everyone but Hardy is an OK striker, he ain’t ground breaking or nothing.
