I have been watching this entire disgusting season of TUF, and now it finally pays off. The TUF Finale. Here are my predictions.

Matt Hammel vs. Jon Jones
Overcoming adversity, fighting in the premier league of MMA, staring in a season of TUF. Man, Matt Hammel, Helen Keller would be proud. This guy pisses me off, and it is not his deafness, just an overwhelming sense of hatred for his style.

Jon Jones on the other hand seems like a pretty good up and comer, boasting a variety of judo throws, sweeps, and some pretty good standup that includes a lot of spinning back elbows. Hammel has done nothing to impress me on his feet, and his groundwork needs work as far as damage inflicted. Jones, on the other hand seems to have a great deal of power, and his takedowns are explosive. While it’s Jones’s toughest opponent to date, I don’t think Hammel has what it takes to combat the 9-0 up and comer.

RESULT: Jones 2nd round TKO

Frank Edgar vs. Matt Veach
Frank Edgar is a tough S.O.B. who isn’t afraid to stand and trade. He also boasts a good ground game with a solid wrestling base and jui-jitsu. Wins over Sean Sherk, Hermes Franca, and Spencer Fisher make him one of the best in the division.

It was hard to find a lot of information on Matt Veach. He is new and undefeated in his pro MMA career. It will be his chance to break into the upper echelon of lightweight MMA. Veach has never faced a harder opponent than Franky Edgar.

RESULT: Edgar, 2nd round Submission

Kimbo Slice vs.  Houston Alexander

Wow well, who would have guessed this fight would happen. I think I am kind of glad Slice was finally once again given a can, but can the Kimbo hang with Alexander? It’s going to be a standup war between two raging black men ready to go all out. Either way, Dana makes a shitload of money off the return of either Alexander or Slice after the fight. Don’t really care who wins, just want to see someone get knocked the fuck out.

RESULT: Slice, 1st round KO

Roy Nelson vs.  Brendan Schaub

Fat Fuck vs. Not fat. Fat Fuck will continue to use his superior ground and fat skills to hold the enemy down in the most boring of positions while pummeling them with jellyfish like fingers. Fucking pathetic, fat fart.

RESULT: Nelson, Unanimous Fatness

Marcus Jones vs.  Matt Mitrione

Battle of the pathetics, great. Damn this FINALE would have SUCKED if Edgar and Jon Jones were not in it. At any rate… I want to say Marcus Jones, but Mitrione seems to have the superior, albeit pathetic, standup. I’d give it to the big man on the ground, but damn. He might just get desecrated.

RESULT: Jones, Unanimous Decision
