Strikeforce Evolution Predictions… Oh and WEC is going to be on too
December 19th, 2009 at 3:45 EST - by Dan
We got a double header coming up tonight, Strikeforce Evolution and WEC 45. I’m going to be primarily watching Strikeforce because I honestly don’t give a shit about that WEC card, Cerrone vs Ratcliff…. who gives a fuck.
Here are a few quick predictions for the Strikeforce Card.
Cung Le vs Scott Smith

I was pretty shocked when I found out that Scott Smith was a +300 underdog in this fight. If I were a betting man this would probably be the fight I would bet on. Somehow everyone thinks that Cung Le is the most amazing shit on the planet. …Continue Reading
Can’t Understand Page even when It’s Typed
December 17th, 2009 at 9:06 EST - by Garrett

In a recent MMABay interview with Jackson:
“Despite the way I feel about the UFC and Dana White and some of the fans who don’t know what the hell’s going on, I am happy to be back and be ready to whoop some ass and stuff like that. Don’t take me the wrong, but I don’t think people understand I’m a human being and I have feelings. Say you do everything you can for somebody or say you spoil a kid, you have kids that are spoilt and kids that are spoilt rotten. You do everything for them and they just walk all over you, they don’t do nothing back for you cos you’ve spoilt them rotten so you get kinda sour. That’s kinda where I’m at right now, I’m kinda sour.”
Bye Logan…Bye Natasha
December 17th, 2009 at 8:46 EST - by Dan

It looks like the rumors are true. Logan Stanton and Natasha Wicks have been cut from the UFC and have been removed from the UFC website. It seems that at this point no one really knows why the two ladies have been cut. Arianny is definitely stayin as she has recently renewed her contract….we still have a reason to watch UFC.
The rumored replacement for Logan and Natasha is Chandella Powell, a former Playmate. The UFC plans on sticking to two ring girls from now on. …Continue Reading
Fight Announcement Time! Mir vs Carwin and Vera vs Jones!

Frank Mir vs Shane Carwin – UFC 11
Since Brock’s raging herpes have not yet cleared up the UFC is setting up an Interim Belt fight between Frank Mir and Shane Carwin at UFC 111. I like the setup but doing the interim shit gets annoying. I don’t understand why you have to create a belt and have someone think he is a champion when you can just have him be number one contender until he has to fight. This is going to be a tough fight for Carwin and a good test for Mir who is looking to build mass to even out the strength difference between himself and Brock. Carwin is fucking huge and strong as shit but he is very green. His only serious victory was against Gabriel Gonzaga and Mir has much better striking and probably better Jiu Jitsu too.

Brandon Vera vs Jon Jones – Fight Night March 31st
Fuck Ya! It looks like everyone including Dana White and the UFC think that Jon Jones …Continue Reading
Dan Hardy’s Plan to Beat St. Pierre is to Fight Like Matt Serra
December 15th, 2009 at 9:15 EST - by Dan

Dan Hardy has been working hard to come up with a good gameplan against GSP and so far the best thing he came up with is to mimic Matt Serra…. what a moron. Here is a statement from a recent interview with Hardy.
I don’t want it to become too much of an issue — defending the takedown — because I won’t throw like I do against anybody else,” Hardy said. “I don’t want to be holding back on any of my kicks and punches because, at the end of the day, that’s what is going to win me the fight. My intention is to go in there, throw hard, just like Matt Serra did, but obviously a little more technical — I’m a little quicker and more technical. I’ve got reach and weight on Matt Serra, so I can do exactly what he did but a lot better

I like Thiago Silva and ever since his first fights in the UFC I’ve been a big fan. I really hate Rashad Evans since the moment I watched The Ultimate Fighter, and had to endure fifteen minutes of his monotonous lay and pray style. …Continue Reading
Alan Belcher is a Delusional Fool
December 14th, 2009 at 8:50 EST - by Dan
In an interview with Sherdog Alan Belcher states that he is the only dude with the style that can stand with Anderson Silva. I guess all it takes to think your the best fighter on the planet is to beat a washed up Wilson Gouveia. I understand that Belcher is trying to get to contender status in the middleweight division but saying the he could stand with Silva is just plain retarded. Anderson Silva should not even be on Belcher’s mind when guys like Marquardt,Maia and Belfort are floating around.
Here is the interview if you guys are interested.

UFC 107 Thoughts, Results, Bonuses and Fight Videos!
December 13th, 2009 at 9:02 EST - by Dan

UFC 107 is over and everything went pretty much according to plan.
BJ Penn showed his true dominance over the lightweight division with an effortless raping of Sanchez. Diego has been building up his confidence for months and it was all destroyed in the very first engagement when Penn dropped him and nearly finished the fight, after that Diego was a broken man. Penn continued to pick Sanchez apart until he finished the fight in the fifth round with a head kick that opened up a giant cut on Diego’s forehead. …Continue Reading
UFC 107 Weigh-In Video
December 12th, 2009 at 6:08 EST - by Garrett
Some interesting notes about the weigh in video…
- Clay Guida is always really pumped up, even when all he has to do is stand on a scale.
- Cheick Kongo turns his back to Frank Mir. Mir motions for a rear naked choke. The chances of which are very very probable.
- I think Diego finally realized how insane YES! is and now is marketing it as his own. Also, he is constantly intense looking.
UFC 107: BJ Penn vs Diego Sanchez Predictions!
December 12th, 2009 at 2:28 EST - by Dan

Time for some UFC 107 Predictions. I’m pumped for this event it should be a beaster.
Main Event: BJ Penn vs Diego Sanchez
BJ Penn is superior then Diego Sanchez in pretty much every aspect, except being fucking crazy. I feel that the only reason that Sanchez can be considered a remote threat to BJ is because he throws like a wild man but with technique. So Sanchez pretty much has an improved punchers chance. Penn’s recently improved training camp is slowly making him a more dominating force. He is coming in much stronger, faster and better conditioned then he has in the the past, a focused BJ Penn is very dangerous.
Verdict: BJ Penn via 3rd Round Submission …Continue Reading
