The 2016 Olympics are going to be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and the question on my mind is: where’s the Jiu Jitsu at? Personally I am not even going to consider that the International Olympics Committee will recognize MMA as a sport by 2016. Mixed Martial Arts just has too much of a stigma associated with it and even though it is spreading like wildfire all over the world it just won’t be recognized in time. Thoughts on UFC 109

I got pretty excited for UFC 109 and I have to say coming out of it I was fairly disappointed. Marquardt was terrible, he gased out and couldn’t do shit off his back (except land elbows that still cut Sonnen lawl). A fighter should never train or fight with the mentality that he will never be on his back. I thought Marquardt knew this but he had no plan once his back hit the ground, what a let down. Now Sonnen’s retarded ego is going to sky rocket.

Sanchez is making the move back to welterweight in UFC 114. After BJ Penn showed him that he would never be a lightweight champion Sanchez left the lightweight division only to chase a title held by GSP. Good Luck Sanchez…. It must be difficult for him, to realize that he will never be a true champion.
Diego is going to be fighting 12-0 John Hathaway, if I was him I would probably just go insane (even more than he is already) and fight like a madman. At this point that will at least leave him with some sort of legacy and the fans will be happy.
