UFC 106 starts in a few hours so I just wanted to get some really quick predictions up. Also as a reminder, there will be 2 prelim fights on Spike starting at 9 PM EST.

Tito Ortiz vs Forrest Griffin

I really hate Tito Ortiz but I think he will probably win this fight. I see him wrestling Forrest to death for three rounds. If Forrest goes in there and knock Tito the fuck out, that will make my night. Sadly I just don’t see it happening.

Verdict: Tito Ortiz by Unanimous Decision

Josh Koscheck vs Anthony Johnson

This is a tough fight to call. Both guys have been improving greatly over the years and both have fought recently. If Koscheck keeps it standing he is going to be in trouble, that’s why he has to go into wrestling mode and keep Johnson on the mat the entire night. If he can do that he can win this fight.

Verdict: Josh Koscheck by Unanimous Decision

Luiz Cane vs Antonio Rogerio Nogueira

This should be a good fight, both of these guys are good ground fighters and strikers. Everyone seems to think that Luiz Cane is the next big thing but I haven’t seen anything from him that impressed me greatly. I can’t really go against Little Nog so I hope he wins his UFC debut.

Verdict: Little Nog by Unanimous Decision

Amir Sadollah vs Phil Baroni

Battle of the horrids, but Phil Baroni is especially horrid. Amir Sadollah better beat this fuck or else he is ultimo pathetic.

Paulo Thiago vs Jacob Volkmann

Paulo Thaigo has had some good fights in the UFC and has gained a lot of experience. This time he gets to fight a guy that is relatively green and I think he has the tools to finish him.
