Thiago Alves Fucks Up His Knee, Out for UFC 107!

Alves tore his posterior cruciate ligament (some shit in his knee) and now he is out of UFC 107. This sucks balls, now Jon Fitch has to fight Mike Pierce. I guess that’s better than no one. Fitch went from fighting Almeida to fighting Alves and now it’s Pierce. I give it a week until Pierce fucks his knee up.

Machida Needs Hand Surgery…

Although the Machida vs Rua rematch was never officially announced it was in the works for UFC 108. Now it looks like that’s definitely not happening. Machida has undergone hand surgery on Friday and will not be in proper training shape until sometime in January. Ed Soares said that the hand injury was something that Machida had for a long time and not anything he got during his fight with Rua. This sounds like a load of horse shit but who really cares. I say forget about this rematch for now, it’s not happening for awhile.

Anderson Silva Out for UFC 108!

Silva had some bone spurs removed from his right elbow recently and his rehab process is going to take longer then he thought. Therefore he will not be able to fight on the UFC 108 card. I say make Vitor fight Marquardt if the UFC can’t settle things with Hendo (and it looks like they won’t).

Josh Neer Gets Let Go!

It’s over for Neer. After losing to Gleison Tibau and going 4-6 in the UFC he has been let go. I really don’t give a shit about Neer so this isn’t that big of a loss. Some fights in smaller organizations might help Neer, maybe he’ll get picked up by Strikeforce.

Strikeforce Signs Zaromskis!

Marius Zaromskis has signed with Strikeforce and might be making his debut December 19′th. Marius is an exciting new prospect with deadly kicks. The only issue is that he hasn’t had to much high caliber competition and that’s something that Strikeforce can supply him. We can potentially see a match up with either Jake Shields or Nick Diaz. Zaromskis will still be fighting for Dream so he ill be getting a lot of experience in the months to come.
