UFC 110 Thoughts and Results

Big Nog lost….. he didn’t just lose he got KTFO. Nogueira looked sluggish in his stand up and the fight didn’t even have a chance to get to the ground. Even though Big Nog will always be one of my favorite fighters I think it’s time for him to retire forever. He has put on some great shows for us over the years and fought in some wars; Nogeuira has nothing left to prove.
At least Wanderlei won. Of course that’s not what Bisping is saying….
It was a close fight. Personally, I think I won rounds one and two. Congratulations to him. Full credit to him on winning the fight. Personally, apart from the guillotine, and I got dropped in the third round, but apart from the guillotine attempt off the takedown in the second round, as far as round two, I really didn’t have any offense come my way. I felt I clearly won those two rounds.
What a sore loser, if the fight would have lasted 1 more second he would have lost for sure and I consider that a definite defeat. What he’s also forgetting is that 10-8 rounds exist, which the third round definitely was (for Wanderlie). There was also a point in the fight where Silva refrained from soccer kicking Bisping directly in the face, displaying the fact that if they were fighting Pride rules he would have broken Bisping’s entire face.
Crocop also pulled through, he didn’t have a spectacular finish but a finish nonetheless. At this point Wanderlei and Crocop are in the same boat skill-wise. They have lost their killer instinct and intensity which made them dominant back in the day.
Sotiropoulos and Bader had good performances wiping out gatekeepers in both the lightweight and light heavyweight divisions, respectively. Both these guys have bright futures.
Here are all the results for UFC 110 and you guys can expect to find all the main card fights here later today.
Oh and Stephan Bonnar is still terrible….
