My picks for this event were pretty horrible and at the end of the night WEC 47 answered a lot of questions. First of all Jens Pulver is done for. He should have never come back and we all knew what would happen if he did. Pulver lost 7 of his last 8 fights and that’s a terrible way to finish off a career. I would say that Pulver  is probably one of the worst downfalls in MMA history.

Another thing that WEC 47 pointed out is that Miguel Torres sucks. First he lost in pathetic fashion to Benavidez and than the guy who took the title from him lost in pathetic fashion to Cruz, over all it shows that Torres is pathetic. Of course he can always recover from this but you can see that mentally he has issues handling loses like this.

Bowles didn’t show the spirit of a champion in his fight and quit in-between rounds. Of course you can easily argue that this was the right decision because at that pace he would have definitely lost the fight and sustained more injury. We will see if he can recover from this lose and move forward. Expect to see a Torres vs. Bowles rematch in the future.
