WEC 47 is today so get pumped! We got Brian Bowles attempting his first title defense against Dominick Cruz, Miguel Torres starting his comeback against Benavidez, and Pulver is going to try to prove that he isn’t completely terrible.

So here are some quick predictions for the main card.

Brian Bowles vs Dominck Cruz.

Brian Bowles is starting to shape into a great fighter. He has good power in his hands and good wrestling with submissions. Cruz has experience over Bowles but he has no finishes in the WEC, while Bowles has finished all 5 of his WEC fights including his last knockout victory over Torres. Bowles will be able to out wrestle Cruz and deal some ground ‘n pound damage.

Verdict: Bowles via 3rd TKO

Miguel Torres vs Joseph Benavidez

Torres should dominate this Benavidez fool.

Verdict: Torres via 2nd TKO

Jens Pulver vs Javier Vazquez

I’m sorry to say this but Jens Pulver got nothing left and it’s a big mistake for him to return just to add another lose to his record. Basing my assessment of his last fight with Josh Grispi, Pulver is going to get subbed in this fight.

Verdict: Vazquez vs 2nd Submission

Deividas Taurosevicous vs LC Davis

I would have to give LC Davis a slight edge in wrestling and the win.

Verdict: LC Davis via Decision

Bart Palaszewski vs Karen Darabedyan

I watched both these guys fight in the past but I completely forgot how there fights went. Karen has some amateur boxing experience so I’ll go with him.
